Work not just on your tongue, nor yet on your total communication, but also on your heart/soul/inner life. Procedures cannot work optimally without right intention. Right intention is not strong and pure without purified heart. It is hardly enough to master verbal techniques to deal with insane aggressors and difficult people on your work team. Only radically changed personality structures will result in the peaceful garden for which poets have longed through the centuries. I was surprised to see Rosenberg’s confession of his own internal violence in ways that seem normalized. I wonder if procedures of any kind are deep enough." I resonate with this lady's words, they echo my own journeying. The impossibility of NVC... as echoed, in turn, in your following post on this page! 'NVC does not work!' This is the same as Christianity... its impossibility! But that hasn´t stopped people following it for years and years. It only 'works' if you have a supernatural faith, in the light of which EVERYTHING ELSE is relative, I tell myself. Finally, life is tragic and often, very, very horrible! But there is Grace... and it don´t give up on us until we have completely 'given up' on that 'everything else' that is relative to it! Love Joe.
