Nonviolent Communication  is a process for connecting to your own heart and other people's. It is very helpful for reducing conflict and improving relationships.

It was developed initially in Detroit by Dr Marshall Rosenberg.

Focusing is a way to connect with feelings and values in the body

It's very useful for NVC, especially for connecting in a more real and physical way with feelings and needs, getting away from being "too much in the head".
